Nach der Sommerpause geht es endlich wieder weiter mit der Champloo Party im Basta! Görlitz. Am 17. Oktober wird der gebürtige Norweger Telephones zu Gast sein.

Bergen-Rimini-Chicago-Honolulu-Detroit-Jupiter-Görlitz ist nur die grobe Route auf der musikalischen Reise von Telephones. In seinen DJ Sets und Produktionen wagt der Norweger immer wieder den Weg zwischen organisch-äquatorialer Hitze und skandinavisch-synthetischer Kälte, gemixt mit rauen Chicago Tracks, lockerem Italo-Disco, balearischer Housemusik und tropischen Technoklängen.
Telephones Veröffentlichungskatalog dagegen steht stark unter dem Fokus „Qualität statt Quantität“. Das spiegelt auch die hohe Nachfrage seiner Releases auf Labels wie Full Pupp, Running Back und Sex Tags UFO wider, welche jedesmal im Handumdrehen ausverkauft sind. Grrrr…

After the summer break it’s finally back to Champloo Party time! On october 17th the norwegian Telephones will be our guest at the Basta! Görlitz.

Bergen-Rimini-Chicago-Honolulu-Detroit-Jupiter-Görlitz is a rough cut of the sonic map on which Telephones travels. As a DJ and producer norwegian Telephones has steadily gained a reputation for his eclectic curveball-mix of house, cosmic, italo-disco and balearic tutti-frutti, paying less attention to genres and more to the atmosphere.

Telephones sparse, but highly sought after releases on lables like Full Pupp and Sex Tags UFO has not only all sold out in the blink of an eye, but also gained support across the board from the likes of Gerd Janson, Andrew Weatherall, Gatto Fritto, DJ Fett Burger, Axel Boman and Justin Van Der Volgen, as well as praise from FACT Magazine, XLR8R and Vice.

The very handsome Bondexx will be warming up the evening, while Dwell On will closes the room with you.
